To become a good dog trainer you need plenty of experience with many kinds of dogs because each type of dog is different. By being certified as a professional dog trainer, you will have the best clients looking for your knowledge and experience. Professional dog trainers are in a unique position since nearly no overhead cost is need to start a dog training business.

In most states, it is very easy to become a dog trainer - all it takes is a handful of business cards and a few dogs to train - becoming a "good" dog trainer is a bit more difficult.
