Crate Training Dogs
By Jayme Hanson
The crate can be a place of sanctuary and security when needed by our dogs. When crate training, it is important to remove the dog from the crate as soon as possible after returning home, and to take the dog promptly to the previously established toilet area - when the dog does its business in this toilet area, be sure to provide lots of praise and treats. Crate training is very efficient, and very effective, since it uses the natural instinct of the dog to achieve the desired result of a clean house and a well trained dog.

With crate training, a dog can now have a safe and cozy place that he can call his home - dogs naturally have that instinct where they have to seek out a shelter - your dog can now have security and privacy while relaxing in his crate after a strenuous activity. Crate Training was once seen as cruel and inhumane but it has gain popularity in recent years.
